Most of a scrap car’s value is in its weight in metal, so prices go up and down with the scrap metal market. When we price your car we look at:

the make, model and weight of the car
whether parts or the catalytic converter can be reused
where the car is and how easy it is to collect

Why you can’t be paid in cash

Under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013, scrap metal dealers can’t pay for scrap, including scrap cars, in cash. You’ll be paid by bank transfer.
